What the Central New York FFAA is all About

The FFAA is a non-profit group of local outdoor enthusiasts dedicated to preserving, enhancing, and studying our wonderful local fisheries. We are committed to pass on to the community the body of knowledge of our collective organization to further the sport of Fly Fishing for everyone.

We meet monthly on the first Tuesday of the month. The months of January, February, March, October, November and December will be our business meeting months and held at the Whitestown Vets Club in Yorkville, NY. The months of April, May, June, July, August and September will be our activity months and held a various locations. Yearly membership is $10.00. You will receive our e-newsletter quarterly that will be full of information on our meetings, some fishing stuff and on occasion some humor. We take pride in it and hope that you enjoy it and, if you can, contribute to it with your own thoughts.

We are an activist organization with a Bucks4Browns program that has stocked large brown trout in the West Canada Creek. We plan future stockings and other programs that in cooperation with NYS DEC will make our fisheries better for all. Think fish, practice catch and release and see you on the waters we love. Gene Kaczor President FFAA

The FFAA is committed to the conservation of our local natural resources for the enjoyment of all current and future generations.

FFAA meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM @ the Whitestown Association of American Veterans, 174 Whitesboro Street, Yorkville, NY. All are welcomed to attend.
